EURO TOUR 1: Paris, France (Part 1)
okay.. here are the pics frm my long ago trip i promise sum of u guys...
i know its quite long ago but anyways here it is...
We (me & fam.) reached KLIA apprx 9pm...
Wen to check in... oh ya and met Pei Ern there! She was goin overseas too...
Then we went down and had our dinner and chat at Burger king...
Our flight was soppose to leave at 11.30pm...
After dinner... we went to the departure area... stop for toilet...
Den went to the departure hall...
The hall was packed with ppl...
this is the view outside the hall...
yup thats out transportation to Paris!
As u know... the flight took apprx 12 hrs...
the flight was quite comfy...
did the usuals (ate, watched movies, listen to music)
We reached Paris Charles De Gaulle International Airport apprx at 7.30am (France time).
It was early summer so it was bright at that time...
The airport was rather quiet as it was early int he day... it had a vry welcoming feeling though...
We waited for the rest of the tour group to collect their luggages...it was quite a small group...
As the automatic doors slit open, a rush of cool air with strong smells of diesel filled out nose... ya not exactly wat u wan to smell... but i could feel excitement out there...
We all piled into the bus and the bus brought us to Place de la Concorde. It is one of the major squares in Paris, France. It is located in the VIIIe arrondissement, at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées.
Here i was standing in the early summer air of Paris. The air here was cool and fresh. The surroundings were calm and quiet.
Can imagine it?
The center of the Place is occupied by a giant Egyptian obelisk decorated in egyptian architecture.
There also is a fountain nearby the obelisk.
On the far left corner is the Les Invalides.
Notice on the far right corner is the lil eiffel tower... hold on we will get there...
This is the giant Egyptian obelisk decorated in egyptian architecture.
Les Invalides consists of complex buildings containing museums and monuments, all relating to France's military history, as well as a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans, the building's original purpose. It is also the burial site for some of France's war heroes.
This is the north front of the Invalides.
Top: This is the church at Les Invalides.
Bottom: This is one of the streets opposite the church.
Okay.... there seriously are aloooooooooot of pics.... but ill cut it short and post the important ones...
kay.. remember the tiny lil eiffel tower that apeared in mone of the pics jz nw? okay nw it'll get closer...

We got closer to it...
the surroundings isnt that dramaticly dark le actually... my cam is not as 'chun' as my dad n bro le... plus i 4got to change the settings...
For more accurate pic see below...>>

Then we gt a lil closer...
